Handmade Fairy Wings – Inspired by the Fairies of Pixie Hollow
Bring a touch of magic to life with these handmade fairy wings, inspired by the enchanting fairies from Pixie Hollow. Perfect for cosplay, fantasy events, children’s parties, photoshoots, or entertainment performances. The iridescent film constantly shifts colors depending on the lighting, creating a truly magical and fairy-like effect.
The wings are made from sturdy 1.5 mm aluminum and finished with an iridescent foil for a beautiful shimmering appearance. The aluminum frame keeps the wings lightweight while still allowing gentle bending, so you can slightly shape them to your preferred look or fit.
Important Information
- The wings can be carefully bent into shape, but please avoid doing this too often to prevent metal fatigue.
- Every pair is completely handmade. Because of this, small imperfections such as tiny air bubbles or slight wrinkles in the foil may occur. I always do my best to minimize these as much as possible.
- Due to the handmade nature, each pair is unique.
Assembly & Use
For safe shipping, the left and right wings arrive separated from each other. Assembly is simple:
- Overlap the bottom sections of the wings.
- Secure them together using tape.
Recommended tapes:
- Packing tape
- Duct tape
- Electrical tape
For longer wear during parties, conventions, or renaissance fairs, I highly recommend using fashion/boob tape. Other types of tape may begin to “sweat” or loosen over time due to heat and movement.
Processing Time
Current processing time is approximately 4 weeks. Since each set is handmade, I take the time needed to create every pair with care and attention to detail.

Handgemaakte Fairy Wings – Geïnspireerd door Pixie Hollow
Breng een vleugje magie tot leven met deze handgemaakte fairy wings, geïnspireerd door de betoverende fairies uit Pixie Hollow. Perfect voor cosplay, fantasy evenementen, kinderfeestjes, fotoshoots of entertainment. Dankzij het iridescente folie veranderen de vleugels constant van kleur afhankelijk van het licht, waardoor ze een echte sprookjesachtige uitstraling krijgen.
De vleugels zijn gemaakt van stevig 1,5 mm aluminium en afgewerkt met een iridescent folie voor een unieke glans en kleurreflectie. Het aluminium frame maakt de vleugels lichtgewicht én licht buigbaar, zodat je ze voorzichtig naar wens kunt vormen voor de perfecte pasvorm of look.
Belangrijke informatie
- De vleugels kunnen voorzichtig gebogen worden, maar doe dit niet te vaak om metaalmoeheid te voorkomen.
- Elk paar wordt volledig met de hand gemaakt. Hierdoor kunnen kleine imperfecties voorkomen, zoals minimale luchtbelletjes of kleine kreukels in het folie. Uiteraard probeer ik dit zoveel mogelijk te beperken.
- Door het handgemaakte karakter is ieder paar uniek.
Montage & gebruik
Voor een veilige verzending worden de linker- en rechtervleugel los van elkaar geleverd. Bij aankomst kun je deze eenvoudig aan elkaar bevestigen:
- Leg de onderste delen over elkaar zodat ze elkaar overlappen.
- Verbind de delen stevig met tape.
Aanbevolen tapes:
- Verpakkingstape
- Ducttape
- Electrotape
Voor langdurig gebruik, zoals tijdens feestjes, conventies of renfairs, raad ik boobtape aan. Andere tapes kunnen door warmte en beweging gaan “zweten”, waardoor de verbinding minder stevig wordt.
Verwerkingstijd
Momenteel bedraagt de verwerkingstijd ongeveer 4 weken. Omdat iedere set met de hand wordt gemaakt, neem ik de tijd om elk paar zo mooi mogelijk af te werken.
